You might have had to log into your account and checked the events tab - unfortunately it looks as though the event is now full. They had a bunch of test drives for the first half of February available when I first looked.
Have you received your configuration lock in email yet? I’m in Edmonton and received mine a week ago but I also am an early reservation holder.

Good sign the Calgary SC is coming together. What dates were people able to book test drives for?
In the 5 hours between getting the email and going to book they had already filled up, however I’m sure they will add more slots at some point.
Also anyone that does go for the test drive, please share some photos of the SC, thanks in advance.

They don't have any R1Ts to test drive, which is why you probably didn't get an invite. I didn't get an invite and my truck is supposed to arrive Feb 22 (apparently the first delivery in Calgary) according to my guide.

Hey Guys,
After calling the main number for Rivian, I managed to get a last-minute demo drive in YYC today.
The chaps down at Calgary said that they are swamped with test drives (and their door was revolving the whole time I was there). I would recommend giving the main Rivian support number a call & just working your way through.
I was informed that the Demo Drive invites are going out to pre-order holders with the more popular configurations, and so if some of you have not heard - it is because Rivian may be taking more time to produce those vehicles. (Popular configs are Black interior and 21" Road Tyres).
Honestly, there is not a lot to take pictures of. Most of the centre is locked down. There is just a small meeting room and an entrance area.
~ The foyer doesn't have any music, but the employees have gotten crafty & are using the Rivian Camp Speaker (Its Heavy, Nice, and sounds great).
For Demo Vehicles - they have 1 R1T (Forest Green with a Green Interior), a Black R1S w/ Ocean Coast & a Limestone R1S with a Black Interior. All vehicles are equipped with 20" A/T tyres (though there are some 22"s in the back if you want to see them)
Regrettably, they do NOT have any apparel to buy, paint swatches, or accessories.
My thoughts ....
R1T - The proportions are fantastic in person. I was really anxious that the vehicle would be too small and Maverick-sized. It is not. It is perfectly sized. Interior is beautiful - I am a sucker for the White. Most of everything felt nice to the touch. Im currently driving a BMW i4 M50 - and i would say the interior of the Rivian is not as "solid" as the BMW, but close. The screen up front was smaller than I thought, and the steering wheel was small to me. The circumference is fine, but the "girth" of the wheel is not that thick. Sexual innuendos aside, it felt a little comical - but honestly, that was my only surprise seeing the vehicle.
R1S - Beautiful & the proportions are fantastic. Do not take your wives; they will nag you for about 3 hours after about how you should buy the R1S and not the "T".
If anyone has specifics, let me know while it's fresh.

Amazing that you're getting the first YYC delivery, congrats!
I did my test drive in the FG R1T with quad motor, so I can correct you on that. And... It was amazing!
I matched a VIN that was identical to my order, but with ocean coast interior.
The rep (from Vancouver SC) said I can still refuse the vehicle once it arrives, he didn't mind because the location has no vehicles to sell.
No clear idea on delivery of this unit, I've done the steps in my account, short of registering.
I'll keep this thread updated, or possibly make a new post about the experience.

So talking with the delivery manager here last week, he said they are slow-rolling/staggering deliveries in Calgary to make sure everything goes smoothly because Toronto was a shitshow. They opened up shop access too early to too many people and got swamped, plus some people with early reservations got screwed with people jumping ahead of them.
He also said Rivian was neglecting the Canadian market with poor communication (i.e he found out about the new standard pack the same day as the public), and always pushes this when he has contact with people in the States.

100% Canadian communication is really really bad.
For sure some ppl jumped the line. I was a Nov 21 order and jumped and was one of the first deliveries in Toronto.
Yet a friend of a friend was a 2018 order still waiting.
But it also seems you really have to be on the ball he hasn't checked his account in years I was checking daily.
