Canadian delivery timeframe

so FYI, I received my VIN number about 10 days ago. On a call (2 days ago) with my delivery advisor (very nice guy) he explained that it means the truck is on the train and heading this way. He says I should expect delivery in about 6 weeks.

Same for me. I was told delivery at the end of March. Likely would have been sooner but going away for spring break.

No official guide contact yet, but got my 8 steps today and was surprised to see a VIN on the paperwork. Not sure what that means as I'm supposed to be May - June for delivery. It is rather exciting.

Apparently my truck is built and at the factory. Not sure if it will be shipped with BlixemT's and digdog's. I should get an update when it leaves the Normal.

Dare I ask, but if I jump on the queue now, what is the approximate delivery time frame? Website just says sometime 2024. Looking at the survivors on this thread, I'm guessing 2024 is optimistic for a R1S.

Who knows, you are in the location window of the only open service center where all of the deliveries in Canada are happening for the foreseeable future. Plus you are paying the new higher price. I'm quite sure you could get bumped up significantly much to all our chagrin.

Yeah me... I get to pay more. I see there have been some deliveries taking place in the area and wonder if they are like you on the original price reservation or a newer reservation. Frankly, I'd be really surprised if they pulled a stunt like that but maybe I'm being naive.
