exactly.

We have a RAV4 Prime and to be honest......I don't like CarPlay. The only thing I use it for is WAZE, Messaging, Spotify. Other than WAZE, Rivian does all that and I have the GEN1 R1T and the Meridian sound system IS SOOOOOOO amazing.

I read the posters "nitpicking" and that is what it was....nitpicking......COLORS......COLORS were an issue?. Where I work we have 14 chargers for us to use (for free). The other day I plugged in and I kid you not, I was the only NON-TESLA plugged in. Out if the 14 chargers, 8 of the spots were taken by Teslas.....all WHITE in color. The others where taken with Teslas (BLue and BLack). Ihave said many times I will never get a Tesla for the pure and simple fact that everyone pretty much has them.

Nothing against the poster about their reason for cancelling, but some (not all) of the complaints were trivial at best. I hope they have a great experience with their Tesla, I personally wouldn't want to drive a car that pretty much everyone drives.
I hear you. Every time we visit our son in SoCal, white Teslas are like yellow cabs in NYC. Sooo many.

The free color was white for like 5-6 years. And a lot of ride hare owners would buy a car with a free color. It’s also a bit cooler for the car and occupants for warm climates end up having more white cars. Wheres localities with snow end up having less.

If I were in charge of Tesla or Rivian I'd try very hard to find a cost-effective way to add more customization options. The most obvious is more exterior color options, but also more wheel designs, chrome vs. black trim, optional spoilers, logos/decals/stripes, etc.

The number of possible configurations grows incredibly with each new option. The goal would be to let you configure your car in such a way where if you saw another one that was an exact match you'd feel like you should invite them over for dinner or something :)

LOLOL. We had a Volvo XC40 (the EV) and it was the worse piece of crap ever to roll on the road. It stated "250 mile range" I was lucky to get maybe.....maaaaaaaaybe 200 miles, it usually came in at 180 on a 100% charge. We sold it back to the dealer after 10 months because it was in the shop twice within 3 months for the same issue.

We also have the Rav4 Prime and my wife loves it. It gets 45 miles of pure electric which is perfect for my wife since she only goes into town during the week. It has CP/AA and to be honest.....I can't stand it. My Gen1 R1T does all of what I need it to do.

It really sounds like NO vehicle will tick all the boxes you want. You will find something wrong with every vehicle. I don't mean this with any disrepect, but I would have a hard time dealing with you as a customer for any business.

Best of luck with your Tesla Junioer with 320 mile range and looking like every other car on the road.....at least with the Cybertruck, it will standout......for all the wrong reasons.....and it is a Tesla, so it ticks the boxes for you
The xc40 is one of the worst EVs ever sold. The 9” center screen is an insult. You bought probably the twin motor spec knowing the EPA range was 260.

The R2 isn’t aimed at your average Model Y commuter, it’s built for the 4Runner tribe and the adventurous MY owners who secretly wish their crossover had a personality. Sure, you’ll snag 15–20K a year from the “CEO envy” crowd making the switch. Mix that with the off‑road faithful, soccer moms and you’re looking at 150K a year before the dust even settles.

I'm renting that particular vehicle in Scotland (if the rental company doesn't change things), so hopefully things work out for me there....
