I'll second this...Two fit perfectly end-to-end n my Gen1 R1S frunk and three fit perfectly side-by-side in the rear of the R1S.

Will these fit the gen 2 as it’s slightly narrower…

I don't know - sorry. Costco has them with lids right now for $10 each. Buy a pair and see...You can return them if they don't fit. It would be a shame if they didn't - it's about perfect in a Gen1!
