I have a question about the charging time. I charged it for 6 hrs overnight. I didn’t remove the charger until 6 hrs later and the green light was on at the truck. The time before, the light was off. At the screen it says I charged it for 6 hrs. At the app it says 13 hrs. Does this make sense?? Anyone else experience this? Thanks Gary

Don't trust the app. For example my truck says I added 137kWh in my last charge last night (from ~30% to 70%) which is of course impossible. I had seen something similar the other day. I mean I love how I added 305 miles of range to my truck to get to 198 miles.

I believe the app is showing the total time the charger is connected to the truck, not the total actual charging time. As for the green light, it is possible the state of charge had dropped and it was topping off.

Or your truck isn't turning off (door not closed/frunk not latched/etc) and you are wasting a ton of energy. I would actually look into that. What does your charger say it delivered? Your charger could have added 305 miles if your burned over 100 miles while sitting there. My app has always been accurate.

Could be that high if you left the truck on and windows down in sub freezing temps.

Nope it’s not right. Would be impressed if the truck charged 137kWh in my 8 hour scheduled charging time (10pm to 6am) at 9.6kW.

Edit: on a second look seems the truck is confused too.

Looks like it's a bug where it just starts the calculation from when your scheduled charging kicks in until you unplug it. I don't see anything weird going on like that in my charging history.

Strange. At least it's not vaporizing your energy. Something buggy going on there.

The app will calculate charge time from the time you plug it in until it completes charging, including if it restarts later to top off. For example, it might hit the 70% limit and stop in 5.5 hours but if it kicks back on a few hours later for 30 minutes it will show a total charge time of 9 hours.
