Cleaner recommendation for R1S Black Plastic Liftgate?

Any recommendations on what to use to clean the plastic around the glass? I used chemical guys VRP, great on the fenders/door bottom but it leaves streaks on the liftgate. Thanks for any recommendations.

Are you looking for a one time clean, or ongoing maintenance? Soap and water with the rest of the car should be sufficient, as long as yours isn’t beat up already. If it is, the only true recourse is to polish it.

I use quick detailers. Griots Ceramic Speed Shine works great on all surfaces. Use a microfiber towel after each wash.

I've had success with 303 Aerospace Protectant. It leaves a nice, clean finish without streaks, and it also provides UV protection for the plastic. Or, you could mix a solution of water and a bit of mild dish soap.
