I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I've found that I get nice results on inside computer screens, and windshield and windows, interior or exterior, by using just a clean damp (with tap water) microfiber cloth, followed by an extra microfiber cloth for drying, and my R1T's glass turns out spotless for me.
I never thought it possible before I tried it, but this no chemicals approach has worked well for me for the past +3-years. So, I always keep a few plastic water bottles and some extra microfiber towels in the frunk whenever traveling.
Edited: To include cleaning for interior and exterior glass
I use this, same product as my laptop and monitor. Be sure to spray on the cloth and wipe the screen with the damp cloth, do not directly spray the screen.
You can just use distilled water and microfiber towel. No different than a TV screen. Just slightly damp and no chemicals needed. I use a mix of Adams Waterless Wash and distilled water, 50/50 and a microfiber towel works great. I like the full strength waterless wash for bird bombs and I have plenty of other detail products but Adams is really cost effective, made in the US and good!
I've used water, Windex, and many other cleaners but nothing compares to Bilt Hamber Trace-Less for computer screens or monitors, windows, dashboard off-gassing (the haze you get on the inside of your front windshield), mirrors, smartphone, glasses, faucets, and just about any surface.
It flashes quickly and with a proper Waffle Weave Glass Cleaning Towel, it's a game changer. No more dread of cleaning windows, inside and out, of your car or the usual excessive wiping to get the heavy hazing off. I had to see it to believe it as I always used generic microfiber with water and had to scrub a lot.
I've had to clean the windows on every R1S service loaner I've used and it only takes 5-10 minutes to get all inner and outer windows clean.
Crystal clear!
