Got this email from EA. Thought their choice of wording (given past experience and reputation) was humorous. I wonder if the home charger will randomly slow down, or turn off, or just not work...

Everything you love about the EA network isn't remotely true for a home charger. What most people "love" about EA is that is their only option to charge at the location they are in. No one is choosing an EA station because its the best they are choosing it because it's there.

There are plenty of home chargers that work well.

Yes, being offered by EA doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Do they not know how their level 3 chargers work?????

From the folks that brought you diesel emissions control bypass tech, are you surprised.

For most people that install one of these in their garage, each day when they get home, it will be the only charging option at that location.

What I love about EA is that they were so lazy/incompetent that they caused the entire auto industry to switch to using Tesla charging plugs.

In my experience, no, they don't seem to know how their level 3 chargers work (or not).
