Connect+ Trial Over?

For some reason, I thought the trial was supposed to last until 10/15. I received an e-mail on 9/17 saying my trial was halfway over, so I thought I had one month left. Anyway, today it seems I am turned off from Connect+.

Guess it’s time to see if I can live without it…

Huh? We got two free months of connect + so 8/15 to 10/15. Everyone got the email in September stating it was half way done.

Didn't they have early roll-out issues and then extended the official start date to 8/15? Maybe the original start date was 8/4 and now the system thinks the end date is 10/4 because nobody at Rivian updated it?

I guess we'll see since this will affect the whole fleet..

Or maybe this is just a one-vehicle issue?

I just ordered a new R1T and it comes with 60 days of Connect +, soooooo I just saved $149....no big deal. Cost $85,000 though....hmmmm ($85,000-$149====== ah sh*t!)

So it seems that it’s the cloud features in the app (live gear guard, remote climate setting, etc.) that aren’t working all of a sudden. Just an icon that says I have “limited connectivity “. I’m at home with the truck and my phone in the same WiFi.

You can go into your app under upgrades and check. I signed up a few weeks ago, says my payment will be on 10/15.

I had the same thing on Thursday, and thought the same thing as you.
Then I drove to work and everything went back to normal. Remains normal as of now.
Not sure what to conclude.

Consider yourself lucky. My truck went into the shop Aug 6th and I just got it back Oct 3rd. Essentially losing most of the free connect plus. It was even in service mode all of that time so I couldn't even connect to it. ?

To be fair, it was only at the Rivian Service Center for the 1st half. For the second, it was at a body shop for damage due to a trailer and vandalism.

We also signed up for Connect+. Our account shows that Trial Connect+ is active and our first billing period begins on October 15, 2024.

It was suddenly back to normal last night. Not sure what the deal was.

Don’t be overly concerned, we have all been in the Connect+ trial period the entire time we have owned the vehicles they just did not label it as such. ??
