I just got my Rivian R1S Tuesday.
Wow, what an amazing vehicle
The cooled seats are the best I have ever experienced
Also, so far, the Texas heat has not been an issue with the glass roof

Yeah the cooled seats work better in my Rivian than any other car I've had with them. I've had 4-5 with that option now.

I enjoy the ventilated seats in the desert heat, but why does Rivian require me to manually turn them on each time I drive? I do not have to reset the AC. Dumb software.

There are vehicles with true “cooled” seats. I had a Sierra Denali that used peltiers in the seats. Could turn your butt into an ice block. Glorious.

The next s/w release will have a vacuum when methane is detected. The one after that will spray deodorant when excess sweat is detected. Lol.

Evaporative cooling is a thing... and as much as my back sweats, this is perfectly fine for me.
