The dash BRAKE light is continually on. Is this something that I should be concerned about?

It looks like you are stopped at a red light, so technically the "brakes" should be on.

He's not talking about the brake light on the truck model. He's talking about the BRAKE light for the parking brake...
Yessir, that is correct. It has been lit for almost two months now waiting on my SC appointment next week.
I was responding directly to the question in the original post. The answer is "YES" this is something you should be concerned about because it should not be on continuously. Maybe your parking brake sensor is bad or something along those lines.
I am thinking that it is a sensor issue because I cannot tell any difference in breaking from before.

You did a better job reading for content.

Since I don't have a truck yet I missed that the BRAKE was brighter than just showing up on the screen.

I'd suggest double-checking that the parking brake is completely released. Also, it's probably there might be a hiccup in some of the brake system parts like the brake pads, brake lines, or brake master cylinder.

How is the parking brake set and subsequently released? I thought ot was all automated.
