Dent - Need repair Advice / Guidance

Unfortunate low speed, driveway ooopsie resulted in a sizeable dent in the rear quarter panel. Any advice or guidance on if PDR is possible or should I contact Rivian SC for the repair. I'm in the Raleigh, NC area, so any local repair knowledge would be immensely helpful.

Doesn’t look like that there is a paint damage so better to reach out to local PDR guy..they should be able to fix up to 95%+ dent ..Rivian certified shop will give you bill of $5k

Completely agree on PDR. I had a dent (smaller than yours) on the back left panel on my truck. I took it to my local SC and even they told me I should give PDR a chance because they would charge a ton more. I paid $400 for the PDR and they did an amazing job. Mine has some minor scuff marks on the paint, but you'd never know there had been a dent there otherwise.

That’s correct. The Rivian Certified repair shops will be outrageously expensive. They are instructed to repair to factory new which means no bondo and entire panel replacements. I had a dent that was slightly smaller than yours on my R1T and I was quoted a price of $5,200 from a Certified shop. I took it to a local guy I’ve used for years and it cost me $950. He did have to use a small amount of bonds but you absolutely can’t tell there was damage. This is one of the reasons everyone is complaining about their insurance rates.

Just got a similar dent from someone carelessly parking. I am also in the Raleigh area and curious if PDR was successful and who you used.
