So I noticed this today. I was taking my husky to the groomer, and t was the first time I had him in the R1S. And, as usual, he was bouncing from seat to seat and into the cargo area and back. I noticed that the cabin lights came on and stayed on, and I couldn’t figure out how or why they were on. At the groomer, I did a re-set and everything went back to normal. Later, on the way home a couple hous later, he was back in the car, and the lights were back on again. At home, I started a charge session, and noticed the lights went out as the car ‘went to sleep.’
Could the bouncing dog have caused this?

I noticed the same with our weims. Not every trip, but regularly I find myself asking Alexa to turn off the cabin lights lol

I blame lots of stuff on the dogs.

They're touch controlled. I bet you have nose prints all over them. Nothing to do with bouncing.

I think you have just solved a big mystery for me! I thought there was something wrong with my wife's R1S. It's been several times that the lights are on, and of course, the dogs are back there. I've never had that happen on my T, and the dogs have not been in the T as of yet.

Me too! The dogs do it, and so do the kids when they leave over the center console to put the same two songs they listen to on again, for the 94th time this week when they get into the truck before I do.

I have the same problem with the cabin lights turning on randomly. Has happened at night and it’s very blinding to the driver. I’ve taken it in 3 times for this very issue. It happens when I’m the only one in the car and has happened when my kids are with me as well. My car is currently in the shop for the 3rd time to try and figure out what the issue is.

Also happening when our pup is in the backseat randomly. Both sides will turn on. No way he’s reaching and touching the light.

I've noticed our rear lights go on randomly. We don't have a dog, so that wasn't it. And it's happened with no one sitting in the back seat.

Never mind turning on the lights, I want my dog to be able to drive the R1 ;-) He can take himself to the groomer and vet.
