This was such a duh moment i had so share. And if this has been covered here before I do apologize.
Just the other day I was about to log a ~250mi RT day trip, so thought id do a vehicle reset the night before to squash some minor gremlins (as one does from time to time)
But I had just brought home some pizza and didn't want the cab to still smell the next day so i rolled down the windows half way while in the garage overnight.
Next morning I pull out (thats what she said) and notice that the windows won't roll all the way up... great...
while on the road, I got 3/4 to recalibrate (am I the only one who just LOVES that I can RTFM right from the infotainment screen?) and the 4th wont go all the way up. uh oh

Thankfully it was 40s-50s and sunny and the window rolled up high enough that the buffeting was bearable.

Called Rivian Service and they were like, we can squeeze you in right away this is a quick fix.
HUGE shout out to Chris and that entire crew at the Chicago Service Center that not only got me in and out lickety split, but let me pepper them with tech curiosity questions that have been lingering for a while, they really know their stuff!

If you had used the frunk or gear tunnel for your pizza you would have been fine

I love hearing positive service center stories. Thanks for sharing. Too much doom and gloom lately.

Learn anything worth sharing in your Q&A period?

Yeah, so the steering wheel vibrations I occasionally feel at highway speeds could be related to the rotational frequency harmonics of the tires or something, each tire size has a different speed at which it might vibrate the steering wheel bit.
Or it could be an alignment or wheel balance issue as it was in my last car...
It's not unheard of for driver+ to unexpectedly stop from time to time, issuing a warning to take control of the vehicle, could be several factors that can cause that. Bit more than infrequently can be a problem.
And I've noticed it seems lately the vehicle pulls just a bit to the right, which is somewhat common for rivian vehicles

Is the Chicago service center still a hot disorganized mess?

Guest parking lot chained shut, service door closed, and "appointment parking" sign in a no parking zone?

Hate that place, wish they'd get it together.

Well, the guest lot was open, but full of vehicles presumably in line for service (including a handful of Amazon edvs)
And the unlabeled adjacent lot that I wandered into (and had to back out of ?) was full of new vehicles for pickup/ delivery...
Parked a block away, which didn't surprise me one bit given the location and all...
The service door was open (but my appt wasn't til afternoon which is why I didn't pull in) but you do have a point... Every busy service shop has a chaotic morning rush, but this was at like 9.30, so over an hour in... Things were much calmer on my way out.

So yeah, make a mid-day appt if you can I guess, hopefully that helps anybody reading this ?
