Door sensor issue. Does it have to do with software 2024.43.01?

I'm not sure if this issue can be directly linked to the software upgrade, but I never experienced it before the update.

Here’s the issue: During my drive, I keep getting notifications on the panel saying "door is open." Sometimes it’s for the driver’s side, other times for the passenger side, even though all doors are properly closed. The most concerning part is that whenever I slow down to take a turn, the car automatically switches to parking mode. This is a major safety concern for me.

I took the car to the service center, and they assured me it was fixed, but to my disappointment, the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I was getting it repeatedly and brought it in for service. They must have popped up 30 times on my 15 minute drive to the service center. They changed my 12v prior to looking at the issue and then were unable to replicate the problem. It didn't happen for a few days after getting it back but just happened a couple of times today. Will probably be bringing it back to service.

Sorry to hear that—hopefully it gets resolved soon. Not sure if you noticed, but the scary part is that the car automatically goes into parking mode when your speed hits 0, whether you're at a light, stop sign, or even when stopping to make a turn. Keep me posted on the resolution please, I will do the same.

I’ve been having the same issue with the door open warning chime. Super frustrating. Has anyone had this issue and gotten it resolved. It won’t do it for a long time and then it’s nonstop. Completely random. And yes, the door is definitely closed.

It has started happening again for me. I have another service appointment scheduled. My R1S build date is 06/2023.

Mine is always on the left side doors, either driver's door or passenger. Its never happend for the right side doors.
