Drive Cam issue comes back after the latest SW update

Drive Cam shows unavailable even after multiple tries of ejecting and re-setting up a USB drive...

First came the second day after the latest SW update.. Did a vehicle restart, and it was fine for a few days.. the issue came back today..

Anyone has the same problem?

I've only had my G2 S Tri since 11/23, so limited time/experience, but have had 1 occurrence of drive not working. In my case just unplugging/plugging it back in resolved it. But now I'm on the look out for the icon showing it not working.

Switched to the samsung usb-c drive last week. So far, working great.
G1 R1S, running 2024.43.01

When you say Vehicle restart, do you mean you did a soft reset or hard reset? I get that after each SW update, and a soft reset usually works for me.

I did a hard one using the hazard light button

Did you try a soft one using the two outside buttons on the steering wheel also? Not sure if that would work, but I unplug the drive, then do the soft reset, then plug it back in, and it fixes it.

I tried it yesterday and it fixed the issue... let's see if it's a permanent fix or not.

I find that every so often that issues comes up, even before a new update, so I need to reset it when it is not working. Not sure if it is the type of drive I use, or a universal issue.
