FYI they ended up finding a wiring issue in my driver's side mirror that was causing a camera issue. They replaced my driver's side mirror and fixed the issue.
Gotcha. There was condensation in the driver side cameras for me that I noticed that might be causing my issues. They will be taking a look at it next week.

Oh man.. how long did that take to track down? Glad they got it figured out though! Sounds like a relatively simple fix once they finally found it
Yeah man, it was there for almost a month, they put about 60 miles on troubleshooting. Hah. Replace x, take it for a drive...no joy. Calibrate y, take it for a drive...no joy. Finally they started tracing and checking continuity in wiring and bam. Then they had to wait for the whole side view mirror assembly to come in. But grateful to have it back, and the auto lane change and highway assist work way better than before. So happy about it!

Service did tell me though that per my ticket a permanent fix is in development..
Sorry to necro this thread, but I guess a permanent fix did NOT happen. While my Rivian was in service last week, the update was deployed and when my Rivian was returned to me for a different issue (random 12V battery fluctuations causing EBS silliness) I no longer am able to see any other vehicles except for that single vehicle directly in front of me. All other systems work fine (including hands free), and it will "detect" the safe time to change lanes, but it just doesn't display anything except the one vehicle in front of me.

Service would NOT say it was a bug or a glitch; was pretty strange like there is some messaging about how to relay that its working, but not working. They said that there are UI updates and the update impacted the drivers display, but since Rivian has not identified it as a bug, they can't call it a software bug. Since the drivers display does not show any errors, they are unable to provide a solution, especially since there is no safety issue. I suppose I could have said I drive through heavy fog, but I live in So Cal and we don't see that.

Just started having this same issue this morning! Did people already try soft reset? I might try that soon here.
Did yours eventually fix itself or did you take it into service? This just started for me last week.

EDIT: NVM, I think you answered me... on Reddit!

I havent seen the issue in last 1-2 OTAs.

But when I did see it, it was similar to your problem, functionality of ADAS was not impacted, just the drivers screen visualizations. Although, this might be because the full ADAS is dependent on the MobliEye, while the driver screen visualization is representation of Rivian’s in-house systems. and I think that is having a lot of issues software/hardware. esp one of my driver mirror cameras seems to have water condensation inside it.

Mine hasn't had an issue since they found a loose/bent connector pin. It's worked fine for the past number of months.

Reviving this older thread ‘cause I’m just realizing my Gen 2 should have been showing me cars in other lanes, not just the front one. My Driver+ features work perfectly including hands free and auto lane changes, but I don’t see the cars on either side.

I’m reading this would be water intrusion or wire harness issues in the side mirror? How can that be the cause if the features that require the cameras in that side mirror all work fine.

Has a final verdict been rendered on the cause here, hardware or software?

P.S.: I’m on the very latest software and have soft and hard reset several times now to no avail.

For me the cause was a firmware mismatch, and unfortunately OTA software updates didn't fix it. It had to be fixed by a tech, doing a manual firmware install from the Rivian service software

Thanks. Would you happen to have the service notes? I’d like to quote them when I ask my SC about it.

Unfortunately the notes just say "diagnostic" on it. Nothing specific. They just told me about the firmware mismatch when I picked it up and was chatting with the tech

So I flagged this issue when the SC called me to move my PTC replacement. They said they’d look into it remotely. shortly after, I got a call from someone at head office saying my driver side mirror needed to be replaced for water intrusion.

Yesterday was my PTC replacement appointment. Dropped the car off first thing. The service advisor said that they were all set for the PTC work but the mirror hadn’t come in yet and that I’d have to come later for that.

Shortly after they called to say my car ready, they called again to say the mirror had just come in. It was late in the day so they asked to keep the car to replace the mirror first thing today. So, they did and sure enough, I now have full visualization of vehicles in other lanes!

This was RCA'd to a faulty front radar in our R1T (DTCs and CRC errors) - I think (and conjecturing based on @mpshizzle 's awesome work) that it, at least in the past, caused the system to fall back *completely* to mobileye - hence why the only impact was to the driver visualization. I wonder if it's still doing that in current firmwares as well?

Edit: we also had the mirror replaced for water intrusion, which was causing camera glitches, but did not seem to trigger the symptom described here.

I am having this exact problem - the driver screen does not show anything other than what is directly in front of me. Have a service call scheduled for week after next, and this is on the docket for repair.

Currently sitting at 2025.26.30. Worked fine until this upgrade went in. I get the yellow radar warnings on my quarter panels, but nothing visual at the blind spots.

Driver's Assist works fine, so long as I do not encounter repaved roadway. That being said, this is "Asphalt Season" in Southern New England. There is repaved roadway EVERYWHERE... When it hit the new pavement, the DA goes crazy. Wondering if that is happening because of these other sensor issues impacting DA.

My driver's side mirror being replaced ended up fixing my issue with this as well.
