Yeah honestly I don't know what the point of it is. Does it affect auto lane change or any drivers+ features I don't really know. Haven't driven or tested it yet enough. Never had auto lane change work. I don't think I'm going to bring it up to service, I'm going to have then look at the diagnostics and if it's not critical to driver+ I'm not going to make a separate 2 hour trip up for it. I could try a vehicle reset I guess. I'm not to turned up about it. I love driving the vehicle regardless. I'm excited for the Halloween themes hah.
Oh I'm very excited about those too! Can't wait! Who knows if it's right, but rumor is that they will be activated on friday.
And if yours is behaving like mine no functionality is impacted. One thing that did trip me up at first, in order for the automatic Lane change to work, you have to click the stock all the way down. I tried to do a half push up first.

Oh I'm very excited about those too! Can't wait! Who knows if it's right, but rumor is that they will be activated on friday.

Well that may have been my problem, only ever done half-push for lane change not all the way, thanks for the tip!

I had this problem just show up for me out of nowhere last Wednesday, November 13. Anyone else still dealing with this issue? Is it worth just being patient until the next software update comes out or shall I submit a ticket?

I'd go ahead and just submit a ticket. The next software update will likely be released next week. If that fixes, great! You can cancel. Otherwise you already have an appt on the books ?

Just started having this same issue this morning! Did people already try soft reset? I might try that soon here.
Neither an infotainment reset nor full vehicle reset fixed it for me

SC said there was a firmware mismatch. While it was in service it got 2024.35. Not sure if that is what fixed it, or if there was it software they installed that was also part of the fix

Odd, it was working fine for 3 weeks. (My delivery was about 3 weeks ago)
I had received the car with 2024.39.32

hopefully 2024.43 fixes it.

Yeah mine worked at first too, then it was spotty then it just quit working all together. Not sure what changed, but it was just a software fix

This is how my vehicle used to work as well, then after about 3 weeks of ownership it went to the single vehicle ahead only. Shortly thereafter I received an indication to clear front radars, radar sensors blocked. Made an appointment and it's been almost 2 weeks. Engineering came down to my service center to investigate and troubleshoot after SC had to escalate because replacing hardware didn't fix. Supposed to hear something soon as three engineers came down today.

Looks like I’m going down this path lol.

Still not working. Now I got the “indication to clear front radars, radar sensors blocked” flash a couple times during the drive
Took a diagnostics. And will report it in the app… I do wish there was a way to report just software bugs.

Mine has been back in the shop for two weeks now. Same issue that they thought they had fixed, but my primary issue was after the Halloween update the vehicle while plugged in overnight errored out while charging and the charge port door must've tried to force closed and it snapped so it was just hanging there. They've had the vehicle for a couple weeks now, on my 2hr drive to the service center also the cruise control would not engage at all. So some things they are trying to fix. Unfortunately in the 3.5 months I've owned the vehicle it's been at the service center for 5 weeks. Of the 2000 miles I've put on it 400 have been driving to and from the service center. Hoping I hear back from them soon.

did a hard reset yesterday afternoon (as suggested by Rivian service after I submitted service ticket about this and such couple days ago), and it still wasnt working for 1 day.
However, it suddenly started working this afternoon!
not sure if Rivian service did anything remotely or something.
Haha I love it when it fixes itself!!

FYI they ended up finding a wiring issue in my driver's side mirror that was causing a camera issue. They replaced my driver's side mirror and fixed the issue.

FYI they ended up finding a wiring issue in my driver's side mirror that was causing a camera issue. They replaced my driver's side mirror and fixed the issue.
Oh man.. how long did that take to track down? Glad they got it figured out though! Sounds like a relatively simple fix once they finally found it
