Helps if I can get my years straight, I preordered May of 2022 post price changes. Sorry for the bad information, life has been a blur as of late.
No worries, I'm not a stone thrower but definitely interested in the dual motor. Sounds like I'll have to wait and see.

Yeah the quad motor is really cool but being a post price increase reservation, spending more money on performance I wont regularly use didn’t make sense. As much as I love to drive spirited, in the end it’s still a large family hauler / commuter.

I am an August to September estimate, looks like July dual motors should start rolling out, will be interested on how they are perceived.

Anyone get any updates or asked to confirm configuration? Starting to feel a little deja vu from April when estimate was May-June and was pushed back 3 months at the April delivery estimate release.

My estimate is the same as it has been since the last update, July/August. They seem to be keeping things pretty tight on leaks, because it seems that no one has heard anything. We need to get some information from a guide who knows too much.

I have been driving a quad motor R1T for over a year. The grand plan was to trade the quad in on a dual, so that I could get the max pack and increase my range.

I have had access to configure an R1T since March. All the options for dual or max pack are grayed out (non-selectable) options. My guide will only say that these options "will be selectable in the configurator later this year".

While I would love to have a dual motor max pack R1T and more range. I am finding that my current R1T quad standard pack is meeting my needs. Only on a few occasions have I longed for more range. I might have to skip trading in the quad motor for the dual motor. If I need real range I will hop in my F250 that will go over 1000 miles on a tank of fuel.

I have an April 2022 pre order dual motor R1S and my initial delivery estimate was Jan -Jun 2024, but last update got "bumped" to July/Aug 2023. That said, I haven't heard more since that change so I guess we'll see when the next quarterly updates are shared.

I recently got the "Congratulations on locking your configuration!" email for a R1S dual motor. Maybe my Aug-Sept 2023 estimate will stick! (Currently shows "processing")

I contacted my guide this past weekend. My window was April-May for a Dual Motor R1S, last quarterly update bumped it to June-July. Guide said that he didn't see a reason why I wouldnt "be matched" before July 31, made it sound like they are on schedule for current build plans. We will see if he's right or wrong in 6 days.

Had my intro call with guide yesterday and specifically asked if changing my config (Sept 2021 reservation) to performance dual would change my Aug/Sept '23 delivery estimate. She sort of contradicted herself, implying that changing to dual AWD would push it out because those aren't being made yet, but that the perf dual would not change anything. I wasn't asking about dual AWD, and I can't change to it anyway...so I was left confused. I also asked when dual AWD would be added to my configurator and she implied it would be in the next month or so.

hmmm, there was a R1T dual in the shop last week. So they must be making at least some of those.
