Efficiency Gauge

In the front cluster, is the efficiency gauge ever supposed to reset to 0 on its own?

Came back to the car a few times some mornings and it was flatlined at 0. I think one of those times it was charging overnight but not sure if it was always the case.

It has done this for me sporadically since the last update. Doesn’t make sense, but I thought they may have changed it to set to 0 if the car hadn’t been used in the last 15 mins, but it’s not consistent.

It resets after OTA updates and I notice after sitting for a few days.

Same experience here. I've never seen it reset to zero before but just in the last 3 days I gotten in the car and it has been zero. No updates recently.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Interesting. No recent updates for me as well and I drive the car everyday. Strange!

A soft reboot of the infotainment system also resets the efficiency gauge in the driver display.

I noticed that it seems to continually update the graph sometimes, not sure what conditions is causing it, I was suspicious, leaving the car on such as pet mode? I wanted to do some experimentation, but never got around to it.
