They sold a LOT during the sale. In the 4-digits apparently. It's going to take a few days at least for their fulfillment to catch up.I haven't got shipping email yet from Comma. It was really fast the first time I bought it though.
Definitely will need your helps again when it arrives. They sold a LOT during the sale. In the 4-digits apparently. It's going to take a few days at least for their fulfillment to catch up.
Sure! Just let me know!Definitely will need your helps again when it arrives.
Finally remembered the name of this thing. It's called the Epilog SideCar from EpilogAI.For those deep in the Comma community: has there ever been talk of a device that either integrates better behind the mirror (like a FitCamX) or uses the vehicle cameras to not require windshield mount at all?
I’d love to have actually-useful ADAS but I can’t stand having a big device hanging from the windshield partially blocking visibility.
That's currently only a Toyota thing, but supposedly they were going to start working on other vehicles. The camera housing still mounts below the mirror housing, just a little less obvious. Finally remembered the name of this thing. It's called the Epilog SideCar from EpilogAI.
I don't know how accurate this is, but their website says they support several brands. That's currently only a Toyota thing, but supposedly they were going to start working on other vehicles. The camera housing still mounts below the mirror housing, just a little less obvious.
If you go thru the compatibility page and try every option, the Toyotas listed here are the only ones that show as available (even though they are out of stock)I don't know how accurate this is, but their website says they support several brands.

Just a side note, as someone that has complained about not wanting Comma because I also dont like anything on windshield (particularly on reddit) - I finally gave in and tried it out. It's not nearly as obtrusive as I thought it would be. Yes its lower than the rear view mirror, but I honestly dont think it obstruct my field of vision at all. I can't think of any scenario where I wouldn't be able to comfortably see what I need to see because of the Comma device. A few cars ago, I used to have one of those radar detectors mounted on my dash near the lower part of the windshield, and that was 10x more obstructive than this is. I agree with you that something built in would be much more ideal, but I'll admit that I was wrong and I'd rather have this $1000 accessory than pay a $10k unchanged for rivian to activate something more discreet (assuming those were the only options and same performance capabilities)For those deep in the Comma community: has there ever been talk of a device that either integrates better behind the mirror (like a FitCamX) or uses the vehicle cameras to not require windshield mount at all?

This was me. This usually is a USB cable issue. Try rotating the end of the odb USB cable 180deg and plugging back in. I'm assuming you used the USB cables that Lukas provided? Not sure what I’m doing wrong but got it all plugged in with Lucas’ full harness, did a full reset with the truck, and it’s stuck on this screen. Tried both Openpilot and Sunnypilot with the same behavior. Also unplugged and plugged back in all the connections. Weirdly the stock cruise and driver+ still work.
