The relevant mass is the battery, which is positioned to achieve the desired distribution, unlike a traditional truck. Per MotorTrend, the R1T's distribution is 51/49.

I'd be surprised if the jack points aren't positioned to distribute that as equally as possible.

I have zero reservation using my QuickJack 7000TL on the R1T sideway (QuickJack is designed to do that anyway) when I get the R1T. I previously called QuickJack sometime ago when I had the 5000TL but wanted to lift my 5100 lbs Cayenne Turbo, on whether I should get the 7000TL or not, and they said the 5000TL will lift it safely with no problem. I have since used it to lift the Cayenne multiple times. I just bought the 7000TL based on anticipation of getting my R1T this December. I have the frame extensions (66" lift point spread) and plan to use them with the 7000TL sideway to lift the R1T as needed. FWIW, as soon as the QuickJack sits in the locking position, tests have shown it can handle more than 3 times the weight specs. In this test, the 5000 lbs QuickJack held the 16,110 lbs weight, then lowered it down with no problem.

Here is how I did mine.

The case comes with solid thin foam pads for the lid and bottom as well as three foam pads with pre-cut removable cubes. I removed the appropriate pre-cut cubes from the three layers which creates an essentially perfect fit for the jack pads except for need to cut a small channel in the top layer to accommodate the nipple of the pads. I cut / tore away two cubes from the left side of the top pad to accommodate the thicker portion of the socket and cut / tore away 1.75 cubes to accommodate the narrower portion of the socket. With all necessary cubes removed, I used my, er um my wife’s, hot glue gun to glue the pads to each other (otherwise the remaining portions of the top two pads are pretty flimsy given all the cubes which have been removed).

I am happy with the result but the extended socket is honestly a pretty tight fit and the foam portion needed to get the socket to fit is definitely a bit fiddly.

Th easiest solution would be to store the jack pads in the case and store the socket somewhere else. Another option would be a regular length socket which would alleviate the tight fit issue for the extended length socket but I prefer longer sockets when using a torque wrench on wheels. Obviously, one could also just use one of the larger Harbor Freight cases which are available.

There was some concern voiced about weight and size. Everything together weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces and the 1800 case is roughly comparable to a six pack.

I am curious on how long it took to get your orders from EV Sportline? I ordered two weeks ago, finally got a shipping notice last Friday, but Fed Ex doesn't show it has been picked up. I am only 1 day shipping from the facility it was shipping from. I just sent a mesage to them.

My pucks shipped quickly back in the beginning of August. The screen protectors I ordered at the same time just came last week.
IMHO I would look for other options for both. Just sayin’.

mine had a delayed as well. When I emailed them, they sent me a tracking number that did nothing for 2 weeks. now I think its en route.

At the time they were the only game in town. Now there are other pucks available that are less expensive and better (magnetic) than the some-assembly-required O-ring version.
