I’m guessing a seatbelt was buckled keeping the car and hvac running the whole time. For some reason that is pretty common for certain dealers and shippers.

Easy to glance at the manual for an hour and not find some tidbit within the 476 pages.
Especially when the driver is not even aware of the mode is even available.

I read the shipping mode section and it would appear the vehicle cannot be driven onto the carrier. The shipper would need to enable shipping mode once it is in place ready to go.
It is so difficult to sit on your culito, butt and search through a manual. Gimme a break. And if not certain, post in the same forum asking for help, ideas, not afterwards to complain.

How would the vehicle get on the carrier, magic, a crane????

Good chance it is loaded by an employee that has no clue about transit mode.
Hahaha

A logical, responsible vehicle owner would tell said carrier what to do. This after doing their own research, on how to handle the transport of their vehicle. Especially an owner that knows the vehicle has various sensing mechanisms that might cause the battery to lose energy, to the point that it might be an issue if fully depleted.

How do I know this? I did my research when I had my T transported. I showed them how to and sent the steps, screenshots of the manual, in writing, just in case they caused a battery issue.

BTW: My T, is my first EV.

If you want to continue making excuses, do you. But, in the end it is an excuse.

So, yes, RTFM or ask if you can’t make the time to do so. Posting a complaint, and this is everyone’s choice, after the fact, is a joke. In particular, when the post seems to infer a failure in the vehicle, during proper use.

There are so many ways to get an answer, and now you can just talk to your phone, computer.
