Fast charging when traveling to Canada

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it did seem to be a bit more of a hassle than it's worth. I'd I'm REALLY counting on those Tesla sites being available!

That's a good point. It looks like there's 3 kinds of supercharger sites now:
1) Superchargers that are not open to NACS
2) Superchargers that are open to NACS
3) Superchargers with a magic dock

It seems like > 60% of the chargers in are (1). I'm hoping this is simply a software issue and over time chargers will move from (1) to (2).

Were you ever able to get the Journie app to work? I'm having the same issue as you where I can log in on the laptop but can't log in to the app on my iPhone. I'm driving from McCall, ID to Banff this summer. Should be fun getting through the charging desert of central Idaho!

I just got back today from a trip up in Revelstoke, took my Ioniq 5 because my Rivian was in service.

Couldn’t even download the Journie app because it was only available in the Canadian app store luckily there was a 100kW Flo charger down the street in Castlegar.

FWIW my route was Sandy, OR to Spokane, Nelson, Revelstoke, Kamloops, Merritt, Hope, Seattle to Sandy. Trickiest stretch was between Spokane and Rossland, took my roof rack and snowboard off and put it in my buddies Outback. Use EA to the border then a variety of 50-100kW Flo/BC Hydro chargers to get to Revelstoke then EC on the way back.
