Can you tell us non manual readers if there was any tips / tricks that you found helpful that you would likely only have known from reading said manual.

BLUF: can some one give me the cliff notes for the R1 manual.

Here's my chance to tell you to RTFM and be helpful at the same time!

The owners guide is available in the truck and is actually fully searchable for terms. Last night I used it to figure out how the child locks are supposed to work.

from page 106 if your PAAK is slow to react you probably just need to place you phone in the mircrowave on high for 30 seconds.

So you know the drill read the manual and report back with what you found most interesting in 750- 1250 word essay.

Honestly I’m so active on here that the manual didn’t tell me much that I didn’t know. With that said I still read it.

You can't just claim you've read the user manual.

To be in full user manual reading compliance you not only have to read it after every SW update, but have the capability of forgetting anything you learned from the previous read.

Some companies *cough* Tesla *cough* remove features.

The truck does not have Carplay or AA.

Also in the service section, they do not have any recommendations for tire rotations.

we all have MONTHs (and months) to wait for the vehicle and Rivian is nice enough to post it on line....so there's plenty of time for reading it before delivery.
