Boring, I've heard how this one ends already. With autopilot engaged. Steering weight kept the nanny from speaking up too much and was able to enjoy a few activities on the way that made the time pass by quickly.

I disagree. For example, it would make sense to keep dual motor prices the same, but increase the price of quad motors. It would create more premium pricing for quad configs for people who want them and encourage more people to get the dual (enhanced) motors, which have better margins.I hope not. Will be one of the worst things they can do. At $90,000+, they're already too pricey. A small 1% raise of $1,000 would do far more harm than good.
I truly wish Rivian would hire someone with public company experience to guide them on their decisions and how each of those decisions impact their stock value. It's not just about one person, they need to see the big picture and anticipate what each decision and/or public announcement will have on its investors.
I'd put down more cash if they sold a power upgrade for the quads. They probably didn't leave anything on the table though.I disagree. You’re right. Definitely not an adventure vehicle.Boring, I've heard how this one ends already.
I probably would too even though the truck doesn't need it. Add in the Owl sound and I'm in for sure.I'd put down more cash if they sold a power upgrade for the quads. They probably didn't leave anything on the table though.
Just 5 hp more / motor? ? that adds up to 20 hp bump!I'd put down more cash if they sold a power upgrade for the quads. They probably didn't leave anything on the table though.
Count me in on this, too. $5k for a 100hp increase. And I'd also pay for a suspension noise whisperer....I'd put down more cash if they sold a power upgrade for the quads. They probably didn't leave anything on the table though.
$5K is a good amount! Hope Rivian is watching this thread lolCount me in on this, too. $5k for a 100hp increase. And I'd also pay for a suspension noise whisperer....
Polestar 2 was $1200 for another 50kW and a sharper tip-in when you're at speed. Feels like it hits harder than the Rivian does now at 40+ but it doesn't stay that way.Just 5 hp more motor? ? that adds up to 20 hp bump!
I decided I want the instrument panel to go into a racy looking mode too, included for the $5k. I would love the speed in center in this mode, battery cooling system temps, and torque at each wheel.$5K is a good amount! Hope Rivian is watching this thread lol
I’m sure they can make Tron outside noises too, if they get the rights too hahaI decided I want the instrument panel to go into a racy looking mode too, included for the $5k. I would love the speed in center in this mode, battery cooling system temps, and torque at each wheel.
And then the door lighting all goes red, too.
And lock/unlock chirp sound like Tron Lightcycles...
I finally got the email today as well. Way back in the dark ages when I placed my reservation the Ford fanboys thought I was crazy for pointing out the “expensive“ Rivian was less expensive than a truly comparable Lightning. Now with all the price increases a 312A small battery XLT is within a few hundred dollars of my substantially better specced R1T. It’s laughable. The only benefit would be to continue to play the tax credit game but that feels like a losing path with an old tech Lightning and the GM & Ram trucks coming.I received the order email today (delivery would have been June) and I've officially cancelled......
