A second "Home" location (for the proximity locking preference etc). My workshop is 3 miles from the house. I park outside one of the (usually open) overhead doors when I'm there. Constant locking and unlocking is annoying. Having to remember to unlatch a gear tunnel door (and then remember to slam it upon leaving) is a PITA.

This would be so great - also would enable us to have time of day charging at both our 'homes'

I would like the side mirrors to lower the view slightly when placing the vehicle in reverse to help see where you are going... My 2008 Lexus does that and it is very useful.

Few ideas:

1. "Automatic" Steering wheel heating and Seat Heating/Cooling based on parameters set by the owner/operator in conjunction with outside temperatures.

2. Have an option to send the open/close feature to gates/garage doors automatically vs having to tap the steering wheel button.

3. Option to see KW/H usage for the trip in addition to last 15 min in the left (dash screen) efficiency display.

3. Another vote for a 2nd "home" (or call it "work") location for proximity function. May be easiest/best to have this as a checkbox option for each stored address.

4. Another vote for auto-tilt (option) for mirrors when reversing. The camera views are good, but in a tight situation, mirrors are better.

Guest seats adjustment... so when I let friends borrow it they don't click "remember" and now I have to adjust back. Or make it a clear GUEST button or something so they know what to click

I don't think this one would ever happen...too much potential for mayhem to have something automatically close a door.

For that matter, my doors face north and (in winter) I don't want them to be open any more than necessary, and I sometimes futz around inside the truck before I'm ready to leave. It's not like I need them open to let out exhaust gas. On the 363 days a year when it's not freezing here, we have a thing called "mosquitos" and I don't want the door open too long then either.

As for closing, just the other day I drove into the garage and parked while still loaded with some lumber that extended out beyond the open tailgate. I then got out and unloaded it and only then was I ready to close the door. I have enough room in the garage to close the door with an open tailgate, but not with a 10' piece of 2x8 in the bed.

I’d like to see a Limestone colored truck pictured on my display screen instead of a Launch Green one…is that asking too much? ??

Adding CP….. Charging Platform integration. Did you think I was referring to something else? Seriously, there are other charging companies such as EVCS and so on that would be helpful to integrate in their map. Also, being able to set up a single “plug and charge” account that would communicate with all charging companies. We pay Rivian, EA, EVGO, EVCS, etc.. collects money from Rivian. I wouldn’t mind even paying a small amount to Rivian for making things easier on me, as long as it doesn’t mean that I have to keep on taps on a having multiple accounts for charging, and having to download apps for chargers that might be located in a town that I’m visiting and only using once or twice (I know, technically we could just pay with credit card, but many times the readers don’t work)

I would like to see an option to open the charge port door from my phone when the truck is locked.
In order to plug in, I need to unlock the truck first.
It is not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to just open the charge port door with the phone and plug in.

This tech is already used by others. Keyword: “Option” not requirement…. In other vehicles that have this feature, you choose whether or not the automated feature is active. When active, the door/gate opens as you approach and closes as you depart. There’s a button to cancel the signal activation for when you don’t want it to happen. You still have to manually open the garage when first setting off.

I would like an update to use plug in power while my vehicle is plugged in for all the auxiliary power. Also an option to "auto start" using the wall power to condition the battery and heat or cool the vehicle so that I am not wasting battery power right before taking a long trip.

I second the average Trip Kilowatts per mile on the driver screen.

I like how the tesla app allows you to set the Dollar per Kilowatt Hour rate and calculate the cost per charge. That is a fun fact when you are laughing at those still sucking from pump.

The number 1 improvement would be to get rid of Alexa. Change it to google or develop proprietary software. It is my number 1 dislike about the truck.
