Decided to skip the $650 ceramic option and add my own. Ammo's latest Reflex V just came out and at $250, plus an hour or so of labor, this turned out stunning. And it's not even fully cured yet. The shine should be even deeper by tomorrow.

Exactly. XPEL offers liquid ceramic coating in addition to stealth wraps but they want around $650 to do it. I used AMMO's original coating on my Bolt and it lasted nearly my entire lease. Great stuff that's extremely hydrophobic, makes it self-cleaning.

Never heard of this product and its not cheap but hard to argue with the results at least based on the looks in the photo.

Did you prep the surface with clay first or just wash?

I just washed first, haven't driven it enough to pick up the kind of contaminants that need to be removed with clay.

They always recommend paint correction because even if you haven’t picked up contaminants there will be swirls and minor scratches which are now locked in under the ceramic coat.

Interested. Love to see more updated pics after additional cure time.

Nearly all cars need quite a bit of paint correction before the ceramic. I recently did one that only needed the clay mitt and considered myself extremely lucky. The truck I had before the Rivian needed rail dust removal and swirl mark removal. Brand new.

I want to see the video of a person doing the ceramic in only one hour.

Did the car come wash/waxed/detailed from rivian or just washed? I am just wondering what if anything i need to do (sealant/wax/ceramic coating) to protect from birds, pollen, bugs, etc

I am not the world's most detailed detailer and I will readily admit that someone for who this is a true passion would likely be appalled by my slapdash process. The time and effort to find and remove swirls and paint imperfections is simply more than my ADHD brain is willing to take on, especially in a humid Florida garage.
Should I have clayed the car first? Probably, yes. End of the day am I happy that my car is shiny and will repel dirt? Also yes.
Suffice to say, enjoy the results, know that there's an even more perfect finish you can achieve if you spend several more hours than I did.

It came quite clean and shiny from Rivian. Enough so that I feel like they had done a light detail before delivery. I wouldn't count on it being something that lasts long though.
