Is it specifically when you are hovering between regen and acceleration? No just every few seconds
that's when it happens to my 23 DMP R1TIs it specifically when you are hovering between regen and acceleration?
yeah, half-shafts. At least in my uh.. perhaps dozen or so half-shaft experience.that's when it happens to my 23 DMP R1T
Perhaps, not sure... it seems to Halen when driving slower, but I just might not hear it when I'm driving fasterIs it specifically when you are hovering between regen and acceleration?
I"m curious to hear what it is. I've seen a few people have an issue where you get this kind of constant ticking like if you had a baseball card in your spokes that wasn't the half-shafts.Perhaps, not sure... it seems to Halen when driving slower, but I just might not hear it when I'm driving faster
I'm going to try to get a recording of it, for the sake of this forum's discussion, but also to bring to my appointment in a few weeks. CheersI"m curious to hear what it is. we have the same truck and it seems to be tied into the half shafts. I have watched several other owners with the same sound and video going slow so it's easy to hear. Tech said it was the Ting Washers but that replacement didn't work. Next week they start and we'll see how much it takes to repairAnd here is the recording. The creaks are when I press on the accelerator or take my foot off, so seems like suspension as vehicle lurches (but to be clear, I'm not stepping on the pedal but instead lightly pressing to accelerate and then easing off)... scratch that, the file is m4a and not supported
Yes my service in a couple of weeks to get the power tonneau cover installed (previous owner paid for) now has ting Washers added to the list as well if I recall correctly it was perhaps a service of the half shafts... not able to view the service agreement any longerwe have the same truck and it seems to be tied into the half shafts. That’s awesome that the Tonneau is getting installed now! I’m on a list to get it installed as soon as it’s available but I haven’t heard yet. Awesome! I got a message from service and they are still working on figuring out the noise. Ting washers didn’t work so hopefully the half shafts do it.New halfshafts and updated ting washers installed.
I noticed my halfshafts were revision D and now they're Revision F.

No steering issue that I've noticedMy Gen 1 r1t is in the shop for this issue too. I get the knocking under accel/decel along with the metal creek. Been in there since Thursday along with some other issues. One of them being steering vibration at high speed.
They said that might be related to the half shaft. Anyone else have a vibration of the steering wheel?
