We don't get the cool light bar effects of the G2, but looks like we're getting the rest of it.

If you're a nostalgic nerd like me, it might be worth driving to a hotspot for an hour so you can geek out over it.
It's fun. Wish they'd keep the lock sounds and warm red interior lighting after Nov 4th, tho!

Got all the "themes", but in my Gen1, this stuff isn't turning off when I lock the vehicle. Sound effects and the green flashing light bars front and back don't stop. I don't need Hasselhoff 24/7.

A fun update. I like the Halloween colors and owl sound.
Am I understanding correctly that the costumes are essentially on or off and only through the app? It seems when a costume is activated (with sounds, etc.) then they stay on (even when you lock and walk away from the vehicle) until deactivated in the app.
I was expecting that they would appear/activate when I unlock the vehicle (until shifting into gear) then reactivate when shifting to park and then deactivate after I lock and walk away (similar to safety lights).
But it seems you would activate them each time through the app and deactivate when leaving vehicle (if you don't want it to run continuously). Still cool but just checking my understanding (which is often off).
