I'm hearing the 18th from my source... Although, even he wasn't privy to what the G1's will get.

What made the first-ever one so successful? It was unexpected. It was fleeting. I don't think they'll be able to top that. Anticipation and expectations make outcome less special.

I propose they use it as opportunity to trial features/capability that could eventually become year-round user-configurable options—e.g. interior lighting themes, audio cues upon locking, etc.
