I had an issue where I would enter turtle mode after DC fast charging. The truck would continue to drive, but errors would only clear after a hard reset. 37K miles on the odometer. I only DC fast charge when taking a long road trip - not very often. For the most part I charge daily with my setup in my garage (Rivian Wall Charger on a 60 amp circuit).

It was easy setting up the service appointment through the app, and they got me in within a month at the KC service center. I was able to charge to 100% at the house and drive with no issues from NWA to KC. I got them the truck at 10:00 am and they called around 3:00 to say they were done replacing the HV battery pack except for some software checks etc. They wanted to keep it till the next morning. It was ready first thing in the morning, but as I had a loaner from them, I had them do a tire rotation. I did stop and charge using my Tesla adapter at a Supercharger on the way home - no issues.

The experience was pretty painless overall. I wanted to let the forum know so there would be a little less apprehension about the process.

I have had three interactions with the Atlanta SC in the past two and a half years and have no complaints with either the timeliness or level of service. That said, it would be nice for Rivian to invest in more SC’s as the number of vehicles sold increases.

I had the same thing happen in April. The Denver SC also handled it very quickly and professionally.
