Received my Jack Pucks today. Fit them to the truck and decided to test my bottle jack with it. I’m at least 3 inches too short to get the tire off the ground.

Did you solve this with an extra tall jack, jack pads under a bottle jack, stacking the jack pucks, not raising your R1S to highest level, or something else?

Jack pads. I carry a bunch of 2x6 short lengths for various "under things" uses. (Under my travel trailer jacks, as wheel chocks, etc.)

It takes more lifting range (height) on the rear of a Rivian due to the simple fact that the suspension cycling in the rear is greater than the front. Most jack pucks (our included) lift the front with the 10T Big Red Bottle Jack without any issue whatsoever. The rear does require an additional 1.75 to 2" of height to get the rear wheels off the ground.

Jack Pucks were first designed for use with floor jacks and for commercial tire centers to change or rotate tires. We added a bottle jack port, as an added feature for on the road repairs. We carry a 2" thick rv pad in both of your vehicles.

Because of this challenge, we released the XL Jack Puck, which unlike any other taller puck is magnetically attached to the chassis and uses off the shelf bottle jacks, for off roaders and road side repairs. Like some other posters have said, some carry a couple of pieces of 2x4's for added lift.

Hope that helps. Our XL below, which coincidentally sold-out today (back in stock mid-Aug) is now what we carry in both of our Rivian's, along with our kit.

I carry a set of 4 "normal" magnetic Jack Pucks for service and tire rotations and one XL Puck for my bottle jack in case of a roadside emergency (along with a plug kit).

I bought an off-road floor jack that has more than enough lift.

So wait, are you telling me that the jack that comes with the R1T won't get the lift high enough to get the tire off in case of a flat on the road, let alone off road? I have the original jack pucks, and assumed that would be all i needed in case of a flat on the highway. Now i'm reading that it still may not be enough to get the tire off and a new one on. Guess i'm going to have to put more stuff in the R1T just to make sure i can change tires. Ugh!
