HVAC Sync Behavior

Here is just a wish...and maybe I am wrong and others have a use case that explains why it is as it is.

I wish that when a driver sets the HVAC to Sync, that when a passenger changes the temperature to something different than driver, that obviously Sync turns off, which it does as is, but when passenger exits, that then the HVAC would resume to Sync, which it does not as is.

And somewhere, there's a car that does that, and a person complaining that EVERY DAMN TIME they get into the car, they have to set their side.

My thought was when the passenger gets in, it would revert to un-sync and restore whatever the previous setting was last time someone was in passenger seat. So they would never be even aware that while it was driver only, they system had been running in "sync". To the passenger....it's like it never happened.
