You know PA-CF can never be yellow right? It's always black? In any case, layer adhesion isn't aided by CF and could actually be worse (probably). If I could get yellow PA-CF I would never use PETG or ASA.

Well, I obviously mis-understood what you used. and yeah, i thought it a little curious you had found PA-CF in yellow ... but didn't think it was unheard of these days. I feel like the more exotic filaments are starting to come in more colors. Though doing some searches, I really only see colors in the glass fiber nylons (but no yellow) ... Bambu Labs apparently had a yellow, but it's been discontinued. And OMG most of these are so expensive!

Sorry I did jump into my love for PA-CF.

Carbon is black, so all CF is black. Glass is clear so there are a lot of colors. PA is off white, so anything other than white is possible, and maybe someone has come up with a white, but I've never seen it. Speaking of which, Sunlu Easy-PA in natural color is a wonderful thing to work with! And cheap. Just not pretty, but great for mechanical parts in the shop.

And mentioning again, this stuff is nearly identical to Rivian yellow (within a few RGB points). Super easy to work with, great surface (not slick or shiny, nice car surface).

Just wanted to give a quick update to anyone following this thread - I ended up making my own rain cover; shout out and credit to @trez63 for the inspiration.

I made a few revisions to the design since I put this one in the picture together, but it's mostly the same. I moved to a 2-piece design using a rigid material (ABS or similar) for the main cover part, and a flexible material (TPU) for the "gasket" piece. The gasket is ~1.5mm thick so it you don't want to print that little piece, thick tape or gasket material should do the job.
I'd recommend putting something back there not just for sealing purposes, but the print isn't 100% smooth and may leave small scratches on the bumper. It's a couple cents of insurance...

Printing specs were 0.20" layer height at 20% grid infill.
I've had the best results printing the cover oriented with the mount portion down and using supports. If you have the option to choose support surfaces or limit support contact points, I suggest you keep the support material out of the gasket groove in the back; it's just easier to clean up. If you run a Prusa, I've included the support coordinates below and a picture of the gasket groove without the material (the inside of the groove is rounded so it doesn't need support).

I'm also playing around with a "diffuser" add-on (the other printed thing in the photo) after my CFD buddy said a lot of the dirty droplet build-up could be wash from under the car. It hasn't rained enough recently to test it thoroughly, but if I notice any improvement, I'll post an updated, less obtrusive design.

Anyway, feedback is welcome and if anyone has any ideas on how to improve it, let me know. I'll get around to posting this online somewhere at some some point.

Nice work. I just took some black duct tape doubled it over as a flap and that works, but your product is better. I did mine to see if it would work.

Interesting, but practically speaking I'm not going to have a power bank and reservoir and some external bluetooth button to trigger the wiper. I'd love to have something integrated into the front camera washer (we have that, right?) or regular washer mechanism.
