Is PDR able to fix this?

I'm wondering if that tailgate is made from papier-mâché on these things. I had a small golf ball size dent in almost that exact spot. Then about a month ago I have an even larger one towards the center. I don't recall coming near anything when I back it in the garage and Gary didn't catch any incidents out in public either. Haven't inquired on PDR options yet.

Fix? Probably not. Make it 95% less noticeable, yes. There is access to the inside by re-moving the inside of the bed which helps.

If you post your city or area somebody on here might be able to recommend a good source.

Given the proper incentives ($$$$) I think a good PDR guy could get that area back to almost 100% restored. But, that's a tough area to access and it will take a lot of force to pull that dent out which means a mobile repair is out of the question. It will need to go in to a real shop that has a anchored puller system.

I'm convinced PDR techs are actually magicians who owe a significant debt to the devil. That debt is, thankfully, not transferrable to you, so - go for it.

I’ve had good experience with Beach Cities Paintless Dent Removal In HB with previous vehicles. Haven’t had to take my R1 there yet though.

I had a similar dent, just a bit lower than that on my 3rd day of ownership (backed into garbage bin) I kid you not, I took a sink plunger and pulled out. You would only notice if I point it out.

I second Beach Cities Paintless Dent Removal, made a dent in my motorcycle tank literally disappear.

I second this. Definitely accessible from inside, which is a plus for this type of repair.
