20" Inch KO3 - Chonky

Figured someone would want pics of the KO3s that just got mounted, because Chonky. Stock size, no rubbing in low (as expected).

Efficiency will be terrible, also as expected. I'm guessing 2.4 vs. the 3 I get today on the stock Pirelli 22's.

FYI - these TPMS fit just fine and sync'd within a mile of installing, and they're cheap.

I have a set of KO3 also. They are really durable, and the efficiency hit is not that bad

Not anywhere near as bad as the Pirellis, FWIW.

I find the KO series to be pretty great on highway considering how capable they are. Of course, I also have the 22s that I'll switch back to when I want more quiet and less electron use.

I’d say drone is there, but some how a but lower and less annoying then the Pirellis

3 in stock 22s is amazing. I also recently just made the switch from 22s to 20s (with Toyos) and was happy to see my efficiency about the same (2.3 highway) or better.

How do they perform offroad? They look like they'd do well but I am just starting to poke around into off-roading so I don't know enough to even Dunning-Krueger this.

I run KO3s and I would say they are far from efficient, but at 65-70 mph, I get around 1.85 - 1.9 consistently on my daily 60 mile R/T commute. At 100% SOC, I can expect about 240-250 miles of highway driving. In blended city/highway driving I get around 2.5 - 2.6 and can expect around 320-330 miles at 100% SOC. YMMV.

Edit: The KO3's are very capable and have performed well off road in all types of conditions - soft sand, rock gardens, and off-camber situations. I haven't driven them in the snow yet. Aside from the efficiency hit, my only comment is that they've picked up a noticeable drone as the tires have worn which I expected.

Gen2 dual made an enormous, quantifiable difference over my Gen1.

On my G1 would consistently see around 340-350miles of range in conserve, with all-purpose tires (Michelins or the stock 21s), on the highway keeping the speeds low. That's about 2.7. So it's a meaningful upgrade, mileage-wise.

Headed to the Sierras here in a bit, will update on efficiency now. I'm guessing I'll end up back around 340, or such is my hope.
