Large+ Battery Replacement Question

Picking up my Dual Large+ R1S soon and had a question about the battery. If there is a problem with the battery where it needs to be replaced will Rivian replace it with a Large or will they give me a Large+ (software limited Max pack)? Not sure what they will do but I would hope the replacement is still a Large+.

It was my understanding that there was no longer a large battery pack - period! They are all max battery packs that are software locked to limit the amount of charge they can take - The plus side is you can charge to 100% all the time - This is just what I understand from pieces I've put together the past few months waiting for my R1T Dual Large ( Gen 2). Please weigh in if you have contrary information. ( still waiting by the way.....)

It was true for a short period, but the newer vehicles will have an actual "Large" pack in them.

Thanks for Clarifying! Much appreciated - I was recently assigned a guide ( now that my vehicle is in production ) and was inquiring about what is involved in paying the additional $7,000 to unlock it now before it is shipped. It makes sense now as they thought i was asking them to change out the battery pack - but i'm getting what I ordered and could not be happier!
