It’s usually the drain valves in the doors. For a while, they were installing them upside down on the assembly line, so the flaps don’t drop with weight of water and allow it to drain. Hard to hear while swinging doors because there is less distance side to side than fore/aft for water to slosh. DIY is possible. https://www.reddit.com/r/Rivian/s/O3KTu6XmaA

When you change ride heights, does it sound like your compressor is drowning? Check the wheel tub area in the rear. We had a leak from the bottom that ended up filling the back wheel tub area with 3" of water. They probably bumped a wire loom grommet out of place when they installed our spare.

No noise from the compressor here.
I reached out to see if they can move my service appointment I had initially for usb ports. They were able to get me in earlier but at a service center that is triple the distance from the one that is closest to me. I shall report back in a few weeks. Thanks all.

Have you been using your AC recently, do you see water under the vehicle after running the AC when parked? Quite a few people have had a clogged or pinched AC condensate drain line in their Rivians. This could allow water to build up to the point where you would hear it sloshing when turning. A number of people on this forum have had wet carpets, due to so much water collecting in the airbox, that it overflowed into their footwells, soaking the interior carpet.

I’m still new to this. Got my 2024 R1S 3 weeks ago. I’m noticing recently when I take a turn faster than the “normal”, I hear some sort of liquid as I’m turning. Is this normal or is there water in my car somehow and I should bring it to service?
Your bladder emptying?

This happened to me in multiple vehicles, not yet in the Rivian.we got sloshing sounds followed by hissing noises when water hit the evap coils.

OP are you getting the sound when you turn only in one direction?

I tried this morning. Seems like predominantly turning right, it’s louder. Bit when I stop short or accelerate quickly, I don’t hear it.

That sounds a lot like the clogged condensate lines in my ICE vehicles. Because your truck is so new, I have to believe like others have mentioned that there may be a kink somewhere in the line or lines.

Let us know what the service center/mobile tech says.

After waiting two months for my service appointment, then 12 days having my car there. I finally got my car back!
Bad news is, this water sound wasn’t resolved. I contacted Rivian to see if they can do a mobile service instead next time around. They resolved 2 of 3 of the issues I’ve reported. But this is what they did to attempt to fix the water sloshing issue.

Looks like they confirmed the noise stopped. Case closed!

This sounds exactly like the drain plug in door issue. I also had the leaky HVAC problem which did not cause any noise (just a smell). It never bothered me enough to proactively have it fixed but when I had it in for my replacement tonneau they fixed the door drains and it has never happened again.
