Interesting, you mean the tire/wheel itself or the just something in that area?

That's a full control arm replacement. That's much more significant than just some shielding being replaced, although I'm glad they did it right and replaced the full UCA when they found a loose bolt that had probably destroyed a bushing or two already.![]()
This is from that visit and what they said was causing it and the fix.
Im glad they did the full replace too, definitely took care of the problem. That's a full control arm replacement. Yes! On my '22 R1T. I took it back to RSC mutiple times to no avail....They kept telling me it's normal due to the use of an electro-hydraulic roll control system. Basically, hydraulic actuators that replace anti-roll bars, are the source of the noise which is not true because my '23 R1T and R1S don't have these suspension noises.Anyone else have issues with what sounds like a loose suspension or something, I’m having some very loud noises and a rough ride coming from the front right wheel area. Brand new R1T with only 1500 miles. I’ve already submitted the service ticket and have an appointment in February but man this sounds like it’s gonna fall apart.
My suspension sounds the same 8k miles. This. The demo QM I tried was pretty rattly/clunky and I was hoping it wasn't an indicator of things. But, when I got my R1T, same clunks - just a little quieter. Honeymoon was in full effect and I was hopeful - but now after two months, getting the same clunky sounds over every little bump in the road.My suspension sounds the same 8k miles. Definitely NOT common on EVs with air suspension. both my tesla's with air suspensions have never had this issue and feel solid. Maybe this is the reason Rivian's trying to have their drive units designed in-house? Will improved DU's resolve issue with the excessive clunking noise? This. Maybe its an EV + air suspension thing but I can't believe more people aren't annoyed by it.
