Yes, finally! I *REALLY* hope this one has a good trailer-stall. (Heck, for this location, two trailer-friendly stalls wouldn't be amiss.) There are just so few decent trailerable charging sites near Seattle. (The EVgo in Tacoma is the only one with >150kW I know of.)

Edit: Crap, I looked at the plans. *NO* trailer stall. Not even the "rightmost when pointing at them" stall having other stalls beyond it to parallel park and charge if the parking lot is empty.

I wonder if Astoria Oregon is next.

They had news articles about the RAN charger in Astoria, but no RAN charger ever happened.

If its any consolation, this part of the mall parking lot is always empty when I am there, so I really doubt there will be any vehicles parking near it, allowing you to parking along the northern edge (right-most charger) with a trailer behind you. It just wouldn't be 'pull-through'.

Finally. I was really hoping that this would be done in time to use it while charging was free. HA.

So I went by yesterday to see the latest status as shown above and confirmed that yes, indeed there are 9 new charges onsite. One one hand, that is great since the original plan was to install 6 and save 3 pedestals for future growth. On the other hand, it amazes me, that there are 9 new units sitting on pallets completely unprotected from theft.

Yeah, there are fencing sections around them, but the fencing isn't secured or locked in anyway. I truly hope they don't walk away before getting installed.

Very much looking forward to the Lynnwood RAN!

No issues finding charging in the Seattle area, whether that RAN station is enabled or not. Of course, the RAN chargers are a lot nicer than most, but you're not going to have a problem finding a charger

that's assuming you can find one with cables attached still.

No chance they'll be online by mid-Sept. The Lincoln City RAN was sitting looking to all the world as if it was ready to use for about two months before they went live. And that was back when all RAN were free and they didn't have to worry at *ALL* about billing.
