I keep looking at these for our R1S but they're so huge when not inflated that I keep getting scared off from buying one. We already have a Klymit Insulated Double V that we use when sleeping in a tent on the ground - I think we're going to try this in the R1S first before buying a dedicated car mattress. It packs down to 9" x 5" so we have plenty of room for other stuff.

This mattress has worked great for me! The “full” size option fits pretty well out of the box and the cover is washable.

i have a sleeping platform so I actually just took the cover off and cut the foam to fit with a box cutter, so easy.

The nice thing about the megamat auto is that it flares out by the 2nd row doors which gives way more room if 2 are sleeping in the R1S.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just spent three nights on the RPM Stargazer, and thought I'd leave my review:
- it says it auto-inflates, and maybe it would eventually, but I got impatient and used the pump.
- it was extremely comfortable, to the point where I didn't really even think about the fact that I was sleeping on something other than a real bed (other than that my feet sloped down, since I didn't get the floor-leveling risers yet).
- it smells a little, which I guess any foam mattress will at first.
- it packs up to a reasonable size. Not tiny for sure, but for a two-person mattress it seems fine.

Overall, seems pretty solid.
