Had my R1S for just over two weeks now, and typically, the memory seats work fine. In park, foot on the brake, seat starts to move to my position. But occasionally, it doesn't move, or doesn't complete the full movement. Typically, the seat back doesn't move, since that's the last part the memory seats moves.

I can't pinpoint what is causing it, so I can't repeat it yet, but it is often enough, probably 1/10 times getting into the S, that it's annoying. Anyone else notice this?

At first I thought it was going into gear too quickly, but that is not it, because I have definitely had the seats move while in gear before.

Anyone have a similar situation, or cause for this?

for me, i've found that if I engage any of the buttons on the steering wheel, ie, the rollers or the buttons; it disables the auto adjust.

Many times in teh morning I get in to the truck and start turning down the volume before I put my foot on the brake; of which makes the seat movements stop.

same goes for pressing the button to open the garage door.

Yes this is an ongoing software issue, that will be addressed in a future software update.

We have frequent issues with profiles not fully restoring their settings under random conditions.

Same issue with the seat back. Everything else it remembers. Calibrating it doesn't fix the problem. I always have to adjust the seat back to get it more upright.

Been trying to pinpoint this as well, been going on ever since they implemented the easy access

Same issue. Sometimes the seat moves into position but the steering wheel stays high and doesn’t adjust down. To fix, I switch to my wife’s profile then back to mine and it works.

I’ve had this issue with my R1S which is 3 weeks from delivery. I did a hard reset and then reset the seats and had a much better experience. It’s important to know the easy access set up is specific to the driver profile. I set it up for me thinking it was set up for all drivers but when my short wife would drive it wouldn’t adjust so we set it up for her and it works.

Now if I could get the PAAK to work consistently that would be amazing. For me walking up to the car unlocks it maybe 60% of the time and sometimes I have to literally open the app and press the unlock button to get it to work.

But love it overall and have faith it will get figured out in time.

Have you tried turning the easy access function off and entering/exiting with the seat in a stationary position?

I typically don't use the easy access feature on cars as I think that can be a lot of wear on those little motors in the seats. I've also had situations when that's been on where there's been a box or something behind the seat and the seat them rams the box as it's retracting. Again, not good for those little motors.

The only time my seats are out of position is if by chance my partner gets into the truck first and it thinks he's driving (which squishes the seat up way too close). It's easy to change driver profiles in the center screen and then things return to their normal position.

I’ve done this in the past and about 50% of the time it works - my issue is usually the steering wheel gets dumb and I have to recalibrate to get it to work again, like every third day.

My R1T is at the SC right now and this is one of my concerns so if I get any more information, I will post here.

It is consistently inconsistent; always a little off than what I set for.

It is a known issue i think.
Personally I will press on break petal, wait and let it finish its work before doing anything. then successful rate will be like 80%.

like it is mentioned above, if you touch any buttons on the wheel, it will likely stop.
