Miles on odometer at delivery / pickup? Mileage thread

We picked up Opal (our R1T) at the Factory in Normal on April 26, 2023. She had 10 miles showing on the odometer.

I don’t know but I was told I’d get an update on my delivery end of August and still haven’t received anything. Hard to get one in Miami. My guess would be lot of issues with the heat down here and their vehicles so they want to wait on it. It’s been in the 90’s every day.
I’ve been waiting almost 2 years…

Anything less than 100 is fine. Most seem to have 20-30 upon delivery. It's not something unique to Rivian. Plenty of articles on the web about this.

Mine was 39 miles over 4.5 hours of driving. Had lots of panel gaps and possibly wind noise to test out. Curious on others’ experience. Wondering if it’s indicative of quality. My ICE vehicle was 14 miles.

Tons of threads on this. Most folks seem to be in the range of 20-50. Anything under 100 is generally considered "fine".

Panel gaps and wind noise are other issues. Tons of threads on those, as well. Usual steps apply - identify source and submit a ticket to Rivian to schedule fix. ?

I think the delivery docs you sign say that you understand the odometer could be up to 100 miles. Mine was 92 miles, although my specific R1T was shifted between a couple different service centers (and presumably to/from a couple of storage lots/dealers) before delivery. I specifically requested that they transfer the R1T I wanted from a different dealer (they offered it to me before realizing it wasn't at the right lot, and I accepted the wait while they transferred it)

I took delivery at the end of November and mine had 15 miles. Very happy with the build quality.
