Some states require 100 miles as the minimum so they just put it on everyone's paperwork.

If you saw that 290 number on the main driver display, that’s the range estimate. I know there are more than a few folks that have made that mistake, myself included.I just picked up my R1T yesterday. DMV paperwork all said 100 miles, so I thought that was probably a default #. Did my walk around everything looks awesome but was surprised when I looked down when leaving it had 290 miles already. After waiting so long from the truck, wasn't going to pass on it for less than 300 miles, but was surprised it had that many and my guide did not point that out. They also did not have any of the 4 puck covers under the truck fastened (just hanging down), so they flapped all the way home.
You are correct! Thanks!! Learning curve starts nowIf you saw that 290 number on the main driver display, that’s the range estimate. I know there are more than a few folks that have made that mistake, myself included.![]()
My R1T had 25 miles on it. Had for a month now, no problems!I pulled the trigger on an R1S in the shop about 10 days ago. VIN is 17xxx which is lower than I expected. I found out yesterday that it is already in Brooklyn and ready for pickup. I asked how many miles on the clock and was told 28. Should I be worried that this vehicle has already been rejected by someone else?
How many miles were on your new R1S or R1T when you picked it up?
