I found multiple bolts missing on my undercarriage while putting on my hitch cover. I set up an appointment to have them replaced and fixed and found the warranty does not cover it. I don't understand how bolts not properly tightened or secured (lock tite) would be the owner's issue with a truck over a year old with 16500 miles. The mobile estimate is $140 ($40 for bolts and $100 for service). Needless to say, I canceled the appointment and will find matching bolts and do it myself for a fraction of the price. I expected this to be covered when paying $100k for a truck., but I was wrong!
That’s insane. The car coming apart under normal use is certainly covered by warranty. I cannot imagine a true denial. I would escalate. These guys need to get their act together.

A little loctite prevents this from happening. Service needs to stop being lazy and apply loctite if they are going to reinstall the bolts or use fresh bolts each time since they have what appears to be one time use threadlocker on then when new. I strongly encourage everyone to check if any are loose and if so take one out at a time and apply blue loctite. I also mark the bolts with a paint marker so that I can easily see in any bolts are rotating loose.
