We're trying to go on a little road trip today and my nav keeps routing me to Tesla chargers that require an adapter which we don't have yet. How can I turn this off? I see the option to hide chargers that require adapter on the map screen but it still navigates to them.

Disable Tesla chargers in the nav filters.

You can click to avoid chargers that need adapters. Simple as that.

I wouldn't disable Tesla, because that will then remove magic dock locations.

You don't have the wrong ones selected in that menu, do you? I haven't even gone in my Rivian this week so can't comment on whether or not it's functioning the way I expect Rivian has it.

Which locations is it still routing you to?

We are going on a cross country trip in July so the news was great and spent some time last night messing with routes, however I also noticed that no matter what options I selected/hid in the map menu it always navigated and included the same charge stops.

Maybe it's a temp issue while they update the maps etc.

Just like online shopping sites, you can filter results. And there is now, added, a filter for charging sites that require you to have an adapter.

When you go to plan a route, there's a little option button near the bottom of the planner screen where you can set things like state of charge on arrival. IIRC, I think there's a toggle there to enable/disable the Tesla stations where adapters are needed.

Update: Works fine using Rivian app when marking the button to avoid stops requiring adapter. The issue occurred when sending a trip from Google maps to the car... then the Rivian nav adds the Tesla stops which require adapter even though it's marked to avoid.

Also these are not Magic Dock locations, none around here unfortunately.

If there’s no risk of missing a magic dock location, I suggest turning off Tesla entirely in the car nav filter - see if that helps.

Not quite, the filtering on the map does not get taken into account when planning a trip. You have to go into the trip setting, which appears when you add one, and THEN adjust networks etc.

As I found out.
