What they should really offer is the ability to put coordinates into the navigation system. My Jeep has that feature and it's incredibly useful. Plus, you get zero errors from street addresses and that sort of thing when the address really isn't quite correct on the mapping software.

I'll often look up a destination on Google Maps and then get pinpoint geo coordinates and use those in my navigation system to get to that exact point on the map. Doing this is really useful in densely populated areas. It's also fantastic for finding a trial head.
I'm pretty sure you could do this before the Google search update. Haven't tried it recently. If you search on Google maps on your phone, you can send a pin directly to the truck, which is based off of lat/long coordinates and not just the name of a place.

I'm NOT suggesting anyone do this, but if anyone were curious and did a simple google search of this person's profile name, it does not take long to put 2+2 together and realize this colorful Texas character MIGHT actually believe the entire universe revolves around him.

Anybody else enjoy it when someone who doesn’t own the vehicle and doesn’t follow the forum decides they have some earth shattering opinion on the vehicle that their wife’s brother’s roommate have?

I'm old school, still a map and compass man. I want grid references. ;)

Just did a 300 mile trip to Boston with mine, using the Rivian nav to find chargers, restaurants, the hotels and more no issues at all.

Maybe I should be looking for something more obscure than that to stump it.

Elon Musk isn't going to like you at all if you don't type. How did you manage to post to this forum?
If you haven't used a Tesla Nav system, then you have not been spoiled by its effectiveness.

People said the same thing about printed MapQuest maps in the late 90s, early 2000's.

So donate your Rivian to 1-800-Carsforkids and stick with your Tesla. Just stop your all caps whine Party…..

In your other thread you were whining about the nav system during your test drive. If you bought it after all of those histrionics it’s your own fault.

OP: I’m surprised you can’t spell surprised. Even with autocorrect and spell check widely available.

How often do you complain about the future of humanity yet you haven't purchased it yet? sheesh.
He didn't need to purchase it! We all got the future of humanity for free at birth! And started paying for it once our kids were born!

Lol
