I have no idea if it is mag safe. My phone does charge through the Otterbox on the Rivian cordless charger.

@EV Sportline what size ball mount are you using? I'm thinking about picking one of these up just for the ball mount + USB power, but to use it with my Peak Design mount / case.

This is super cool and exactly what I'd like for my truck. However, I'm really not confident in my ability to remove those panels without cracking the plastic or screwing up the trim. Anyone think that I could get the service center or mobile service to install this for me?

I know I should just be careful and do it myself, but I love this truck too much to risk screwing up the trim.

Those dash and panels are fairly pliable, we have pulled ours on/off way too many times (testing, taking photos, videos). Should be fine even for a novice.

What's the power output on this module? Does it support PD? Curious what kind of charging rate I can get if I just stick the usb-c cable in my Pixel 8P, rather than the wireless charger.

That just means it's Qi-charging capable through the case. Magsafe compatibility includes the ability to magnetically adhere to the charger, and there's so many cases out there it's impossible for any vendor to know for sure, but, if it's marketed as Magsafe, then there will be a steel or magnetic ring in the case. Some of the Otterbox cases are, but the super-chunky ones tend not to be - too much weight and thickness.

Change to a Magsafe case and you're golden. It's that simple. Lots of affordable case options available. Otterbox is mostly marketing.

Great! Which fuse can be used as an alternative? Is there a video, pictures, instructions included anywhere in this? I don’t want to buy it without knowing exactly how it installs first.
