Gawrsh dangit! I *JUST* installed a replacement Rivian-official one last week! Had this come out 10 days ago, I would have gone with this instead...

You will undoubtedly break one of the plastic retaining clips, however. I've replaced mine twice and broken at least one each time. Or maybe I'm just too impatient.

Let me make sure we mention 'be careful' during the video! Ours did not break, so that is a good sign. I did however break the clips off our Cybertruck HEPA cover on day one 🫣

The evaporator is under the dash, we're working on proper instructions for reaching it, will post asap! You can put the filter in for now, and we'll come back for cleaner instructions if needed.

Really carbon exposed first?

Other hepa/carbon filters I have use small pieces of carbon as a finishing filter after hepa filtration. Would typically see carbon first if used as a shorter life pre-filter. Given the lack of direction with the product or on the website, I installed filter first.
